Speaking Engagement

orator in publicWe are available for speaking engagements in any of our area of specialties. Dr. Hernandez speaks on several topics including social science research methods, program evaluation, the Black Diaspora and the role of cultural ethnicity, gender, spirituality, and class in identity formation and successful outcomes, black masculinities, and gender issues in academic and social settings.

In 2002, she collaborated with colleagues to create a research proposal and conduct a symposium on Achieving African American Male Success at Temple University. In 2003, she was a Temple University team member presenting on The Philadelphia Experiment: State Takeover and Privatization of Urban Public Schools at the American Educational Research Association Annual Conference. In 2013, she was an invited speaker at the  Symposium on Spriituality and Professional conducted by Center for the Study of Spirituality and Professionalism (CSAP) at the University of the Virgin Islands in St Thomas. She is also a motivational speaker who advocates for lifestyle changes that allow us to connect our personal, spiritual and professional lives as a critical step in finding the pathway to personal fulfillment and to meaningful work and service.
